Standard Horizon VHF Radio GX1800GW DSC is simple with the Fixed Mount VHF/GPS and there is no difficulty with linking the radio to a GPS for DSC because there is an integrated 66 Channel GPS built into the front panel.  DSC calling, location sharing, waypoint navigation, and navigation to DSC distress calls can all be done quickly and easily out of the box. The new Easy to Operate menu system has been redesigned with the operator in mind and is more user-friendly than before.

Only a few straightforward actions are required to access all menu options and settings. DSC programming and calling have never been simpler. By taking up less dash space and enabling more mounting options, the rear case design also provides flexibility when flush putting the radio in confined spaces or bracket mounting the radio.
