I'm really in love with these phones! I bought a couple for me and my guys to try to see if we really wanted to invest in more of them and we're really sold on them. They are very rugged and the global push to talk feature is very nice. It's so cool that they double as a satellite phone as well so you get the best of both worlds. We also really like the SOS feature on them just in case anyone has an emergency out in the middle of nowhere they can always be safe and end up getting help.

Jeff Y.

Grabbed a batch of these for while I'm out on my long treks so we can all keep in touch. The ptt features are very nice, sort of the icing on the cake for us. I really like how rugged these devices are. While I'm out and about I have absolutely no worries about my device becoming in operable because of damage; yes, they are really built that tough!!

Greg Y.

Grabbed a couple of these for my family and I so we can keep in touch while I'm out on one of my trips or even out hunting, which I do often. I kind of spoiled us a bit with the push to talk feature, I really wanted it for us and it is very nice. I also like the SOS button just in case of emergency. It would be very easy to have an accident with the areas I'm at and get stranded since I'm so far away from any help whatsoever.

Really wanted a couple of devices for my hunting trips with my friends so we can communicate. I also wanted to communicate with home as well and I came across these extreme ptt devices. They were a perfect match for me. They're built nice and rugged and I get good clear communication every time I use them.

Wanted to grab a couple satellite phones for me and my wife and I ended up on this one. We really love the service, both the sat phone and the push to talk work great. I really like the piece of mind it gives us where we can each contact the other and get professional help if needed via the SOS button. Thanks to Apollo for all of their help their customer support has been very awesome to us!

Gene W.

Was looking for a push to talk device and didn't realize I could get a sat phone that worked as a phone but also offered push to talk as well until I found this Extreme device. Finding this device was perfect, it does exactly what we need it to. Also, the SOS and GPS features are exactly the stuff I needed for my work with my crew.

My phone has been invaluable for my fieldwork. Its PTT feature ensures I can communicate instantly across vast distances. Rugged and reliable, it stands up to harsh conditions with ease. GPS functionality adds safety. For those who need robust, dependable communication in remote areas, it’s an excellent investment.

Mitch R.

The Extreme PTT is a robust device that's become crucial for my remote communications. Its push to talk feature is incredibly reliable allowing instant contact with my team worldwide. The durability in harsh environments is unmatched and the GPS tracking adds a layer of safety. While it's a significant investment the performance and peace of mind it provides are worth every penny. Ideal for field workers and adventurers alike.

Don M.

Its push to talk feature is a game changer in remote locations. The device is tough, easy to use, and ensures secure communication, which is essential for my outdoor excursions.

Michael D.

I purchased the Extreme PTT and it's brilliant. The push-to-talk function is so handy, and the durability is impressive. It keeps me connected everywhere, a true lifesaver!

I've with Apollo for almost 10 years now and have never been disappointed. This makes my 7th PTT phone. Other than an antenna problem with one unit, these have been solid. Iridium has gone a long way over the years. When PTT first came out, service was spotty and calls were constantly dropped. Now, with their new satellite structure, service is much better.

Kristen P.

Bought a couple of these for a trial before seriously investing some money for the whole crew. I have to say I am really impressed! They connect very fast and you can't beat the service, haven't had any issues at all. Next quarter we're are upgrading for sure!

Dres S.

Grabbed a couple of these for my hunting trips, which are often. I bought two with plans since we always go out in groups and thought it would be good for us to be able to communicate considering we're way out of cell range. So far I haven't had any issues. The devices find the satellites fast and they are built very, very rugged.

Rick

This goes hunting with me all the time; awesome phone!

This goes hunting with me all the time; awesome phone!

Zollick H.

Travel southeast asia all the time in and out off cell tower reach. Picked this up so I can communicate, somwhat limited when compared to my smartphone but still works as advertised as far as I can tell.

Nick E.

Use this on my boat i originally bought it for the sos. love the push to talk have been using this to communicate with my office for a while now; works well.

Rockard C.

Traveling throughout Europe leaves me with a cell that won't work so I grabbed on of these. It feels built quite well in my hand, do not think it would be easy to damage it. Connecting has been easy have been using it quite a while now on and off.

Conrad E.

We bought a second one to have on our sports fisher in case of emergency because it is a truly dependable means of communication. Iridium is a proven product. Delivered as promised….thank you!

Richard S.

I go hunting all the time and I really like using my satellite phone out off the grid. This push to talk is the best thing I've found so far for a satellite phone. It's just too convenient being able to talk to someone with just pushing the button. And it also has some kind of advaced sos feature that I haven't fully figured out yet but as far as what I've found shopping this one is the best so far.

Rick L.

This just works, make sure you follow the directions it really is pretty darn good satellite phone. Built heavy duty and really good network you really don't gett too much better than Iridim's network they have lots of satellites.

Capt Mojito R.

Lightweight, heavy duty, well engineered, fast satellite acquisition, clear audio on both ends. It could always be smaller but its still outstanding!

Jonathon Peters

I take random trips off the grid to go camping and what ever else, hunting fishing etc. My extreme ptt always comes with me just in case and I can also call my family.

Rob B.

My business takes me out of cell range too much so I had to get something to continue to communicate. It was hard to justify the cost but after the equipment these push to talks aren't too bad on cost. They are also very robust I've dropped mine multiple times and you wouldn't even know it.

This was a lifesaver on a hiking trip that I went on with my friends. We picked up a set for everyone and we were able to keep in touch with each other with the push to talk feature and talk to family at home as well. Great device!

Mikail R.

I use this all the time with my business after going through more than a couple satellite phones trying to find one that I like. Ended up with the extreme and then they added ptt features and I had to have one. It's awesome to be away from my truck and still be able to communicate with the office and friends and family.

This is a must have for any adventurer, part time or full time. If you hunt, hike, bike, climb, or are in a remote area, this thing can save you. I have it set up to dial three different emergency numbers when using pre-paid minutes. The clarity is great in a non-obstructed sky or in a convertible/sunroof. The phone will do emergency dialing only if you don’t have any minutes. The timeframes on the cards are strict so buy what you need on your next adventure. I have not used any wifi capabilities with the available accessories. Yet I can’t imagine emailing someone while a bear is chasing…

Joan C.

Bought this for me and my hubbies summer home which is sort of in the Boone Docks. After tring to get it to work I found out that it cant be used indoors, this was a huge dissappoint. I ended up having to get an antenna just to get it to work inside. Wish I knew that beforehand. Now that I know how this exactly works its no biggie but that was a dissappoint.

Michelle R.

Been taking satphones with me to Africa for a few years now and it has taken some time to find one that was really what I wanted. Then I found the Iridium Extreme ptt the push to talk is amazing and actually pretty affordable believe it or not.

Roman F.

The wife bought this for me worx i guess. Like my cell better but it owrks.

Nicholas R.

We have a business taking people out on the water for some recreation, deep sea fishing, scuba diving ... We keep one of these on every boat just in case. You can't beat the push to talk feature it's amazing that you can be off the grid and talk with someone on a satphone liek it's a radio!
