I’m 81 and have trouble navigating the guide. Probably more on me than the product.

This phone is awesome, it feels nice and solid like it can stand up to anything. I've been hooked up for about a week now and after messing with it for a minute I figured out how I should be using it and haven't had any issues connecting to the satellite network. I get a good quality signal and crystal clear calls.

Enjoying my phone very much. Once I used it a couple times and got used to it I have had nothing but good, clear calls with no issues connecting to the network. Now when I'm out of cell range I can talk to anyone without problems, thanks to Apollo for all of their help as well. Their customer support is really top notch!!

I really love my phone and the service. The first thing I noticed when getting my phone out of the box was how solid it feels. It feels like it can stand up to a lot. Also the SOS button is a very welcomed feature, just in case of emergency I have a way to get help when I'm out and about.

Great phone, and great customer service!

Great service and piece of mind with this plan.

This is an outstanding satellite phone. Its global coverage is reliable and the call quality is clear. The battery life is impressive, lasting me through an entire shift at work. The phone is durable and easy to use even in harsh conditions. It has been very reliable and has kept me connected in remote locations.

This is a reliable satellite phone with excellent global coverage. I found its battery life impressive, lasting up to 8 hours of talk time. The phone is durable and easy to use, even in harsh conditions. Call quality is clear, making it ideal for remote locations. Overall, it's a dependable choice for staying connected when traditional networks are unavailable.

Arrived on time and in working order- great customer service. So far so good.
Wanda F.
Its robust build withstands tough conditions and the battery life is incredibly long. The call clarity is great and the GPS tracking feature adds a layer of safety. It's an essential tool for anyone traveling off the grid in my opinion.

I’m trying to figure out how to activate my bluecosmo satellite phone

Although there was a hiccup with delivery, when we contacted them, they answered right away and getting the phone up and running was as easy as a regular cell phone.

The Inmarsat IsatPhone 2 Sat phone performs exactly as described. Customer service is patient and professional.

Somewhat new to the Sat phones. Customer service will definitely help if needed. Very patient. The inmarsat phone works great. For me this was a great pick and the plan is more than reasonable.

Quickly fast. Excellente service

Had several issues but finally resolved.

It is challenging due to have to go outside to capture a satellite. You can't just do it from a desk or kitchen. I love all the features.
Scott m.
Easy to use, easy to get help.

Product arrived quickly. Good transaction.

Works great from shore. Will know more when I get offshore
Next week. Your tech service has been great. Thanks

I've had my sat phone for over a year now and really enjoy it. I almost went with a sat hub but went ahead and decided on a straight up satellite phone instead since all I do is make phone calls on it so I have no need for texts or the Internet and such. Thank you to Apollo for all of their help, their customer service is the best I've seen; highly recommended!!
Richard M.
Great customer service. I will continue to use Apollo in future purchases
Paul B.
Just making Test calls to family for now. The support from the Sales and Customer Service reps has been great. I definitely would recommend Inmarsat and Apollo to friends and family. My only issue is with the included user guide that is Windows only. I’m a Apple Ecosystem guy, and I don’t have the conversion software to use it. I downloaded it off the net, so it’s all good.
Elisamuel S.
Excellent service

Very happy with my IsatPhone 2, I take it with me whenever I travel. I've never had an issue using the network, it gets me a connection very quickly. With all the places I travel it is nice to be able to keep in touch and also to have a lifeline as well just in case an emergency happens.
Emmanouel Y.
Great service! Fast shipping!

Perfect for when I travel so I can keep in touch. I've never had an issue connecting and Apollo's service has always been top notch.

Great transaction and customer service !!!

I use this phone when I go hunting in Canada and it works great. I had a small issue with connecting to the network at first and I couldn't figure out what the issue was, turns out you need to be away from any tall abject whether it is a large mountain or a tall building and you have to use it outside. Other than that the phone works awesome! After I am able to get connected I am happy.

My husband travels outside of cell tower range all the time so I picked up one of these so we can keep in touch. We were worried about how difficult it would be to operate. We aren't very good with electronics, I have even have problems with my cell now and again. The only real learning curve for us was connecting to the network, there are some guidelines we had to get into our heads before it became totally comfortable to use. After a couple weeks or so we were pretty used to using it. It really isn't that difficult once you get used to it.

I’m a professional nature photographer, and I’m often in places with no cell phone reception. I purchased this mainly for letting family know where I’m at each day while traveling off the grid, as well as emergency use. The reception exceeded my expectations, and even works very well within a dense forest (with trees about 3 stories tall). The ear speaker is nice and loud, and calls are clear with slight digital distortion. There is enough of a delay that you’ll be conscious of it and have to be more patient than normal conversing with people.
The phone is a bit large, but its much lighter than it looks, and it feels rock solid. It comes with every accessory needed, including ear piece, car and wall chargers, and a travel case. It uses a standard micro usb for charging. The whole thing fits nicely into my camera bag. Battery life is fantastic, but you need to remember to turn the phone off when stored.
The price of the handset, battery life, and price of using the minutes was a great value compared to iridium. I’m using the prepaid card plan. Unfortunately, the 180 day, 100 unit card will now only be 90 days if activated after June 30 of 2016. That card was the best value by far. That being said, the prepaid card is still laughably cheaper than iridium. The minutes do roll over if you buy another prepaid card before expiration.
I signed up for a GEOS search and rescue membership for $30 per year, and programmed the top emergency button to connect with them.
Jim N.
The phone works great and much cheaper than the roaming charges associated with a US cell phone while traveling in Europe. It works great in places where there is no cell reception.

I take trips eveyr so often out to the middle of nowhere to hunt, fish, camp etc. I call my girl and the rest of my family to let them know I'm alright, haven't had issues yet with it. Seems to work as it should and the battery life is amazing! I only used it a handful of times though the weekend but I didn't have to charge it once.

My family owns a small tourist business taking people offshore for recreation, scuba diving, deep sea fishin etc. We have one of these on every boat just in case of emergency. They work quite well we use them all just to make sure they are working.
Richard S.
I plan on taking this phone with me when I travel but since I’ve received it its been fantastic. I’ve been testing it out stateside (Florida to be exact) and it has performed flawlessly. Very quick and easy to connect to the satellites and I have not had any issues with the battery or antenna as other reviews have mentioned. If you’re looking for a reliable sat phone then this is a good option. Setting it up was quite easy too and customer service through Apollo Satcom has been great.
Tracey E.
Phon works fine dont' expect to do much with it though, definitely not as easy as using my cell since I have to be outside.
Jim C.
My home is sort off off the grid a bit and when I go to travel anywhere cell signals are intermitent at times. Figured I would pick up one of these just for emergencies in case I need help. I actually call my wife on it when I'm on the road just as a test and it works pretty flawlessly. There are obviously some drawbacks when compared to a cell but it works as it should.
Joseph N.
I live just outside of Montreal and love going fishing. I use the isatphone to hlep me keep in touch with my family when I'm out. It's really cool I can say goodnight to the kids even while out on my favorite fishing spots knocking back a few.
Jeremy R.
On the road constantly with a trucking company.Im always in and out of cell range. I keep one of these in the cab just in case, works awesome!
Gerser M.
I take this with me on trips all the time and I've never had a bad signal it always works. I'm betting there's a lot fo human error with these.
Gerald C.
I take trip after trip to Brazil and I always end up somewhere without a signal so I grabbed an isatphone for that alone. Only had one connection issue but that was becuase I was inside, human error.
Eyetalus T.
First phone I got was messed up for some reason, I'm still not sure what awas wrong. I got a working one pretty fast after call support. I've only done come test calls but seems to be in work order.

I don’t have a ton of experience with satellite phones, but I have used a few rented Globalstar’s, so that is what I can compare this to. Whereas the Globalstar’s may have gotten service 2 out of 5 times I tried (and probably took 10 minutes on average of shifting the phone around to track down a satellite), this Inmarsat phone got great service 100% of the time, with zero dropped calls over a 3 week period. There is a very slight delay in voice transmission, but other than that, it is like using a traditional cell phone. From power up to dialing a call, it is seconds. Very, very impressed with this phone.
Roger Y.
This phone goes camping with my all the time, it's really rugged and gets a really good signal. This one is actually pretty easy to use than some others that I've tried.

I use this all the time when out hunting in Mexico. This thing is really made solid I think you would have to try to break this.
Kori R.
Grabbed one for my parents, they live in Florida and they love taking trips where their smartphone's signal is nonexistent. They call us all the time on it when they take trips, they're up there in age so I'm glad they've got one just in case.
Tammy D.
Keep this on our sailboat as a lifeline for emergencies. We've been lucky and we haven't need it but I did a quick test call to my parents and it seems to be working. It's built real solid as well, almost more like a piece of equipment.
Mel B.
My yearly trips to India get annoying with keeping in touch with my family. Service comes and goes with where I'm at so I thought I would try a satphone. You need to get away from buildings to get a good connection but it works great once you get on the network.
Spin D.
Night and day comparing to previous version: very fast network connection, excellent sound quality, reliable service.
I’m using Inmarsat for my hiking trips in NC and GA mountains, and short of being in a cave, I usually can get reliable connection everywhere. Device itself is just perfect: very sturdy, rugged, nice looking and easy to use. Has all usual / necessary features, and long, looooong battery life: no modern cellphones last 6+ days ( ! ). Can’t be happier.
