Coverage Area: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Juan De Nova Island, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa (including Prince Edwards Island), United Republic of Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Plus 12 nautical miles into coastal waters.

NOT COVERED: Comoros, Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Libya, Rwanda, Sao Tome, Seychelles, Sudan, Swaziland & Togo. U.S. government regulations forbid Iridium Satellite and/or its affiliates from offering equipment or providing the Iridium service in Iran, Sudan, or Syria, nor to any entity identified in the “Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons” list maintained by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Replenishing card will reset the 12 Months and add a 300 Minute Balance. Unused minutes/units rollover to the new period.

Iridium Northern Lights Canada & Alaska Prepaid SIM Card Details

The Iridium Northern Lights Canada & Alaska Prepaid Satellite Phone SIM Card will not work outside of Alaska and Canada.

Coverage Area: The Iridium Northern Lights coverage area includes Canada and Alaska plus 12 nautical miles into coastal waters.

• Each Iridium Northern Lights voucher is valid for up to 6 months from time of activation or recharge date. 
• The expiration date of your SIM card begins when the card is activated or refilled.
• SIM Card can be recharged with additional airtime prior to expiry by purchasing an additional Iridium Northern Lights voucher. You retain your original Iridium phone number.
• Expiry dates are not cumulative and balance will expire 6 months from the date the card is recharged unless another recharge is completed prior to the expiry date.
• Remaining minute balances will continue to carry forward until the balance expires. Any unused airtime minutes are rolled over to the new period.

Iridium Latin America 200 Minute Prepaid SIM Card Details

Due to the small geographical size and/or location of islands included in this list, calls may be interpreted by the system as originating from international waters and calls may be restricted.

Coverage Area: The Iridium Latin America prepaid SIM card covers land areas and coastal waters up to 12 nautical miles offshore. This plan does NOT cover the Caribbean.

• Valid on calls placed from Latin America only.
• This card does not work outside the Latin America region.

Iridium MENA 500 Minute Prepaid SIM Card Details

Works in specific Middle East and North Africa countries.  – Plus 12 nautical miles into coastal waters. Iridium MENA 500 will not work outside the countries listed below.
