Icom Satellite PTT Radio IC-SAT100M

Icom In-Building and In-Vehicle Satellite Radio IC-SAT100M

Special Order Item :: 5 Day Lead Time

The Icom Satellite PTT Radio IC-SAT100M is a PTT-capable fixed mount satellite radio. Unlike portable satellite radios, the Icom Satellite PTT Radio IC-SAT100M does not require a clear view of the sky to establish a steady communication connection. The design of this worldwide satellite mobile radio allows for easy coverage from a car to inside a structure. The Iridium satellite network supports the IC-SAT100M, giving a genuine global communication solution that covers the whole world, including both poles.

Mobile Uses

The IC-SAT100M is designed for long-term use, allowing you to concentrate on driving while using Bluetooth to operate hands-free. To send and receive satellite signals, mount the antenna on the roof of your vehicle. To help with clearance, the supplied antenna can be stored inside the vehicle. Mount the optional AH-40 antenna on top of the vehicle and conceal it with a third-party cover for a more modest option.

In-Building Use

Communicate with the Iridium satellite network from within a building. The IC-SAT100M can be used as a satellite radio for the office.
It can be costly and time-consuming to install a handheld satellite radio in a structure. A Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch can power the IC-SAT100main M's unit and antenna. For in-building operations, a 100m (328 foot) LAN cable can provide a longer and more cost-effective alternative.

Advanced System Solutions

Interconnect numerous protocols with the VE-PG4 gateway system for real global coverage. Connect worldwide satellite communications, for example, with SIP IP phones, IDAS, LTE, and WLAN. Virtualized countrywide coverage can be supplied using the IP network and the VE-built-in PG4's SIM card.

Interoperable Display

The LCD and buttons on the speaker mic are identical to those on the IC-SAT100 handheld. Switching between the handheld and mobile units is straightforward. On the speaker mic display, multi-language functionality is also accessible.
