Intell-i2 Seamless Entertainment
The i2 always maintains the maximum signal strength available thanks to revolutionary, patented iQ2 technologies, ensuring crystal-clear TV viewing. While the sailboat is moored, at anchor, or cruising offshore, Intellian's super-efficient 33cm (13 in) diameter antenna delivers steady, smooth reception. When a GPS is connected to the i2, it can lock onto a signal even faster, whereas boats with traditional antennae will see "SEARCHING FOR SATELLITE" on their screens.
Automatic Satellite Switching
Users of DISH in the United States and Bell TV in Canada will benefit from using an Intellian MIM (Multi-Satellite Interface Module). For these services, the Intellian MIM is necessary to support automatic satellite switching, allowing boaters to enjoy changing channels with automatic satellite switching, exactly like a home system. Multiple Receiver Capability
- The Intellian i2 Satellite TV Antenna Intell-i2 multiple receivers and TVs can be connected using a Multi-Switch or the Intellian MIM (Multi-Satellite Interface Module) making it a cinch for multiple connections
- Using the MIM, a master receiver can be selected to control the target satellite
- In North America, when using Dish or Bell TV, a MIM is required, enabling automatic satellite switching from your remote control just like at home
Interface to External NMEA 0183 GPS Interface
- Standard NMEA Interface allowing a vessel owner to use a separate GPS system further reducing initial search time
